The Big IDEA turns 6 this Week!

We’re embarking on a new aspect of Internet Marketing, a New Phase of The Big IDEA!

We’ve narrowed down our Passion with laser-focus, and determined that it can be a Profitable Niche for us – we know what we want to use as Keywords and a Domain Name. These are the last steps in Defining our Community (the D in The Big IDEA) and now…

We’ll be taking the next step in Engaging our Community (the E in The Big IDEA), and we begin that journey by identifying where our Community hangs out online!

How do we know where they are? How do we find them? We obviously have to find them before we Engage them!

We start with a little common sense. People interested in Books might frequent bookseller websites, or Forums where people write about and review Books.

Collectors would find a large number of people sharing their passion are members of Antique, Movie Memorabilia, or Toy forums and membership sites.

If your passion is more in the arts, in Plays and Playwriting, then Drama Clubs and Theater groups would be fellow enthusiasts!

The various local, state and national Master Gardener Clubs would be a good source of Community for someone interested in flowers, landscaping or horticulture.

Various vacation groups frequent Travel blogs and websites, anywhere there are Travel reviews and updates on discounted Travel.

You’ll need to put on your thinking cap, and do a little online investigating to find your Community. Use Google and other Search Engines to find them.

Do just a bit of investigating on your own this week, adding the word “Forum” or “Facebook” or “Group” to the keywords that identify your Niche. See what you come up with!

And, next week, we’ll cover at least one example of how to research our Community, and I’ll give you the top places to find any Community that is part of a Profitable Niche!

Drop me an email if you have any questions so far – I’m happy to help! The Big IDEA next week will take up one step closer to Engaging our Community.

Until next time,

Greg
